Cramer, a eighth-grader on the Jamestown High School gymnastics team, scored in two events at the Julie Ziegler Invite in Bismarck to help the Blue Jays to a third-place finish. Krebs, a senior on the JHS wrestling team, won his career-high 21st match and took first place at the Moorhead Gadberry Invitational (Minn.) on Saturday.
Foster, a senior from Rugby on the University of Jamestown women’s track and field team, placed second in the 3000-meter run and ran a career-best 11 minute, 9.16 seconds at the NDSU Thundering Herd Classic on Saturday. Browning, a junior from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on the UJ hockey team, tallied a goal and assist in the Jimmies’ 4-2 win Friday against University of Illinois.
UJ’s Hernandez, Caldera receive honors
University of Jamestown’s Matt Hernandez and Junnette Caldera were named GPAC and KCAC wrestlers of the week, respectively.
Hernandez, a 184-pound senior from Kenosha, Wis., on the men’s team, received Great Plains Athletic Conference honors after going 6-0 last week, including a first-place finish at the Tyler Plummer Open in Dickinson.
Caldera, a 101-pound freshman from Imperial, Calif., on the women’s team, received Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference honors after claiming first place at the EZ-Flex Invitational on Sunday with a 4-0 record and two pins.
Youth basketball program
Jamestown Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a six-week youth basketball program for boys in grades 1-4. Games will be played Saturday mornings beginning Jan. 26.

Cabin Fever coed softball
Jamestown Parks and Recreation is offering a Cabin Fever Days coed softball tournament Feb. 9 at McElroy Softball Complex, weather permitting.
